Dear Black Birthing Queen, Goddex, King, Family,

We welcome you to a journey of love as we support you in the birthing of your child.

We welcome you to EMBRACE.

You have made an important and intentional decision to receive your prenatal care through us and we commit to holding that responsibility with love. Specifically, Black LOVE and Black JOY!

EMBRACE is intentional, deliberate, and unapologetic around the lived experience of being Black to ensuring wellness and wholeness. You deserve health care, love care, soul care that lets you be well and whole during pregnancy and the emergence of parenting.

Our goal is to build a village around you so the highs, the lows, the fears, the joys will be a collective & communal experience. We will learn together, grow together, and partner together to navigate, combat, and buffer the inevitability of daily interpersonal and systemic racism.

As Black people we stand on the shoulders of generations and generations of survivors & thrivers. Reclaiming the belief and trust that our bodies have created beautiful beings and birthed Black legacies to safety.

During this journey our purpose is to do more than help you survive. It is to nurture, support and allow you to develop the birth experience that empowers you and your family. We know that Black families come in all shapes, sizes, shades and gender identities-and we celebrate you all!

As your provider team, we not only offer our areas of learned expertise but also cultural and ancestral wisdom. Somethings can be taught but others have to be lived. We haven’t forgotten where we come from and that type of knowledge and knowing is a vital component of EMBRACE.

Love,

The EMBRACE Team
