Induction of Labor | July 28, 2025, 7:00-9:00pm
The end of pregnancy is an exciting time — and it’s natural to have questions. The UCSF "Induction of Labor Information Session" is designed to help you feel prepared and empowered in your birth process and choices. This one-hour session will review the different methods of induction used, why we recommend them, what to expect during an induction process, and how to get ready physically and emotionally for an induction of labor. This session is led by one of our Labor and Delivery-based midwives. We will provide information so that you can better understand the process and make informed decisions about your care.
While we will be providing specific information about UCSF induction methods, this session does not take the place of your prenatal care. You may have specific individualized needs or differences in the process. Please discuss your personalized plans with your obstetric provider.
